Construction Cover Rolls — Heavy-Duty Woven PP

Tough woven polypropylene supplied on wide rolls for material stockpiles, scaffold enclosures, debris containment, and staging-area inventory on active job sites. Cut to length on site. Built to survive windy sites and rough handling that destroys lightweight poly tarps.

Site Cover Material Built for Job-Site Abuse

Construction sites are hard on covers. Wind funnels between structures, materials have sharp edges, and covers get dragged, re-positioned, and walked on daily. Lightweight poly tarps shred within a job and end up as site debris. Our construction cover material is heavy-duty woven polypropylene — the same tear-resistant, UV-stabilized material used to protect lumber bundles through months of outdoor yard storage. PE-coated for water resistance and rated for 6–9 months of outdoor exposure, it protects material stockpiles, palletized supplies, scaffold enclosures, and staging-area inventory through the full duration of a project. Supplied on wide rolls and cut to length on site, it handles everything from covering a sand pile to enclosing a scaffold run. Standard supply is roll stock; custom widths, cut-to-length, and finishing are available on request — submit your specs for a quote.

Common Applications

Material Stockpile Covers

Roll out and cut wrap to cover sand, gravel, aggregate, and bulk material stockpiles, keeping them dry and contained. Heavy-duty woven PP resists the wind lift and abrasion that tears lightweight tarps off a pile, and the breathable option prevents condensation from building up under the cover on damp materials.

Scaffold Enclosures & Debris Containment

Cut lengths from the roll to enclose scaffold runs for weather protection and dust/debris containment. Tear-resistant woven PP withstands the wind load that funnels through a building envelope and the daily contact of crews working the scaffold. Cut to your run length and height on site.

Staging-Area & Palletized Supply Covers

Protect palletized building supplies, equipment, and staged inventory held outdoors through the project. Where stretch wrap and poly tarps fail in days, woven PP protects for months — reducing weather-damage write-offs and the labour of constant re-covering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Standard blue poly tarps are lightweight and degrade fast — they tear on sharp material edges, shred in job-site wind, and break down in sunlight within a job, ending up as site debris. Heavy-duty woven PP construction cover material is tear and puncture resistant, UV-stabilized for 6–9 months of outdoor exposure, and tough enough to survive daily handling. It protects materials for the full duration of a project instead of needing constant replacement.

We supply it in rolls with a center core — up to 9 feet wide. Roll out and cut the length you need to match your stockpile, scaffold run, or staging area. Standard supply is roll stock; custom widths, pre-cut lengths, and finishing are available on request — submit your specs and we will quote it.

Both options are available. The standard PE-coated roll is water resistant from above. For materials that release moisture — freshly stored aggregate, damp fill, or anything prone to condensation — we offer a breathable woven configuration that blocks rain while letting moisture vapour escape, preventing the trapped condensation that a sealed tarp creates.

Our cover material is UV-stabilized for 500–800 hours of accelerated weathering, roughly 6–9 months of continuous outdoor exposure depending on latitude and sun intensity — enough to cover most project durations. HALS stabilizers are compounded into the resin, not surface-applied, so protection lasts through abrasion. Enhanced UV packages are available for longer projects or southern climates.
