Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Sackora is a Canadian corporation supplying woven polypropylene packaging from Richmond Hill, Ontario. This website is a business-to-business lead-generation site: its purpose is to let prospective customers learn about our products and request a quote. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the site, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

The short version: we collect your information only to respond to your inquiry and to understand and improve our own website traffic and marketing. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we never share it with any third party for that third party's own marketing purposes. The only outside parties that ever handle your data are the trusted service providers who help us run the website and measure our marketing — and they may only process it on our instructions.

This policy is written to meet Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Law 25. By using this website or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you give us directly

When you submit a quote request, RFQ, or contact form, we collect the information you enter, which may include:

  • Your name
  • Company name
  • Business email address
  • Phone number
  • The product you are interested in
  • Any project details, specifications, or message you choose to include

You control what you put in these fields. Only your name and email are required to send us a request; everything else is optional and provided at your discretion.

b. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical and usage information when you visit, including:

  • IP address and general location (country/region), device type, browser, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and how you arrived (including marketing campaign parameters such as UTM tags)
  • Date and time of your visit and form submissions

We also generate an internal reference code for each lead so we can track your request through to a quote. This is used only to manage your inquiry.

c. Spam and fraud prevention

To keep our forms free of bots and spam, we use Google reCAPTCHA and simple hidden-field checks. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis to confirm you are a real person. See Section 6.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

  • To respond to you — to answer your quote request or inquiry, prepare pricing, and follow up about your project.
  • To run and improve this website — to keep the site working, understand which pages and products interest visitors, and improve content and usability.
  • To measure our own marketing — to understand where our website traffic comes from and how our advertising performs, so we can market more effectively. This is web-traffic and marketing analytics for our use only.
  • To prevent abuse — to detect and block spam, fraud, and misuse of our forms.
  • To meet legal obligations — to comply with applicable laws, tax and record-keeping requirements, and lawful requests.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not build profiles about you beyond ordinary marketing analytics.

3. Cookies and Your Consent Choices

We use cookies and similar technologies for two things: to make the site function, and to measure traffic and advertising performance.

  • Essential cookies keep the site secure and working (for example, remembering your cookie choice). These are always on.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you accept them.

When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline non-essential cookies. We operate Google Consent Mode v2 with analytics and advertising storage denied by default until you choose — so nothing non-essential runs unless you opt in. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site's cookies in your browser, and you can block or delete cookies entirely through your browser settings.

4. Analytics and Advertising

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads (through Google Tag Manager) to measure website traffic and the performance of our advertising — for example, how many visitors request a quote. These tools tell us, in aggregate, how our marketing is working; they are configured for measurement, not to identify you personally to us.

Where you have accepted advertising cookies, Google may use conversion and remarketing signals to help us reach similar business audiences with our own ads. We do not sell your information, and we do not permit Google or anyone else to use the data collected through our site for their own independent marketing to you. Google processes this data under its own Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage Google ad personalization at Google My Ad Center.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with any third party for that third party's own marketing.

We share information only in these limited situations:

  • With service providers who work for us — companies that help us operate the website and our business, and who may only use the information to perform services on our behalf (see Section 6).
  • For legal reasons — if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sackora, our customers, or the public.
  • In a business transfer — if Sackora is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. Service Providers We Use

The trusted providers that process information on our behalf are:

  • Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, reCAPTCHA) — website analytics, advertising measurement, and spam protection. Governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Our website hosting and email provider (NocktechHosting) — hosts this website and delivers form submissions to our team by email. Your quote and contact requests are sent to our internal sales inbox and are not published or shared externally.

These providers are bound to use your information only to deliver their services to us and to protect it appropriately.

7. Where Your Information Is Processed

Sackora is based in Ontario, Canada. Some of our service providers — notably Google — operate globally and may process or store information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Where information is transferred outside Canada, it remains subject to this policy and to the safeguards those providers maintain, and it may be accessible to authorities in those jurisdictions as required by their laws.

8. How Long We Keep It

We keep the information you submit through our forms for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and manage our business relationship with you, and afterward only as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate business, accounting, or legal purposes. Automatically collected analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and then aggregated or deleted. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

9. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) transmission of everything you submit, access controls on our systems, and bot/spam filtering on our forms. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Under PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and request access to it
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Withdraw your consent to marketing analytics at any time (by declining cookies or contacting us)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

11. Children's Privacy

This is a business-to-business website intended for procurement and operations professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the revised policy here. We encourage you to review it periodically.
