Sackora is a Canadian corporation supplying woven polypropylene packaging from Richmond Hill, Ontario. This website is a business-to-business lead-generation site: its purpose is to let prospective customers learn about our products and request a quote. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the site, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
The short version: we collect your information only to respond to your inquiry and to understand and improve our own website traffic and marketing. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we never share it with any third party for that third party's own marketing purposes. The only outside parties that ever handle your data are the trusted service providers who help us run the website and measure our marketing — and they may only process it on our instructions.
This policy is written to meet Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Law 25. By using this website or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described here.
When you submit a quote request, RFQ, or contact form, we collect the information you enter, which may include:
You control what you put in these fields. Only your name and email are required to send us a request; everything else is optional and provided at your discretion.
Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical and usage information when you visit, including:
We also generate an internal reference code for each lead so we can track your request through to a quote. This is used only to manage your inquiry.
To keep our forms free of bots and spam, we use Google reCAPTCHA and simple hidden-field checks. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis to confirm you are a real person. See Section 6.
We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not build profiles about you beyond ordinary marketing analytics.
We use cookies and similar technologies for two things: to make the site function, and to measure traffic and advertising performance.
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline non-essential cookies. We operate Google Consent Mode v2 with analytics and advertising storage denied by default until you choose — so nothing non-essential runs unless you opt in. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site's cookies in your browser, and you can block or delete cookies entirely through your browser settings.
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads (through Google Tag Manager) to measure website traffic and the performance of our advertising — for example, how many visitors request a quote. These tools tell us, in aggregate, how our marketing is working; they are configured for measurement, not to identify you personally to us.
Where you have accepted advertising cookies, Google may use conversion and remarketing signals to help us reach similar business audiences with our own ads. We do not sell your information, and we do not permit Google or anyone else to use the data collected through our site for their own independent marketing to you. Google processes this data under its own Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage Google ad personalization at Google My Ad Center.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with any third party for that third party's own marketing.
We share information only in these limited situations:
The trusted providers that process information on our behalf are:
These providers are bound to use your information only to deliver their services to us and to protect it appropriately.
Sackora is based in Ontario, Canada. Some of our service providers — notably Google — operate globally and may process or store information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Where information is transferred outside Canada, it remains subject to this policy and to the safeguards those providers maintain, and it may be accessible to authorities in those jurisdictions as required by their laws.
We keep the information you submit through our forms for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and manage our business relationship with you, and afterward only as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate business, accounting, or legal purposes. Automatically collected analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and then aggregated or deleted. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) transmission of everything you submit, access controls on our systems, and bot/spam filtering on our forms. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Under PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.
This is a business-to-business website intended for procurement and operations professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the revised policy here. We encourage you to review it periodically.
