Industry Solutions
Ultra-strong FIBC bulk bags and woven polypropylene sacks engineered for the abrasive, high-weight demands of mining and aggregate operations.
Mining and aggregate operations work with some of the heaviest, most abrasive materials in any industry. Sand, gravel, crushed stone, mineral concentrates, ore fines, and industrial powders place extreme demands on packaging: bags must handle sharp-edged particles that would puncture standard packaging, carry loads up to 2,000 kg without seam failure, and survive rough handling by front-end loaders, cranes, and forklifts in outdoor environments. For powder and granule products such as calcium carbonate, silica, talc, and mineral additives, packaging must also provide dust control to protect both workers and product purity during filling, transport, and discharge.
Sackora's FIBC bulk bags and heavy-duty PP woven bags are built for these conditions. Our FIBC bags are manufactured with reinforced fabric panels, high-tenacity lift loops, and safety factors up to 6:1 for the most demanding lifting applications. Liner options — including form-fit PE liners and anti-static liners for dusting or flammable powders — protect product from moisture and contamination while controlling dust at filling and discharge points. For smaller-volume applications, our heavy-duty PP woven bags in 70–120 GSM fabric weights provide the tear and puncture resistance needed for sharp aggregate and mineral products.
We supply mining packaging to aggregate quarries, mineral processors, industrial mineral distributors, and specialty chemical manufacturers across Canada and the United States. Our team can assist with FIBC specification — including UN-certified bags for regulated materials, conductive and dissipative bags for static-sensitive powders, and custom discharge spout designs for pneumatic and gravity unloading systems — ensuring your packaging meets both operational and regulatory requirements.

View ProductOur standard FIBC bulk bags are available with safety factors of 5:1 and 6:1, meaning a bag rated for 1,000 kg has a minimum breaking strength of 5,000 or 6,000 kg respectively. For applications involving lifting over personnel, transport on rough terrain, or repeated use cycles, we recommend specifying the higher safety factor. All Sackora FIBC bags are batch-tested and documentation is provided with each shipment.
Yes. For fine powders with low ignition energy — including certain silica, carbon, and organic mineral products — standard PP fabric can generate static charges during filling and discharge that create explosion risks. We supply Type C (conductive) and Type D (static-dissipative) FIBC bags that safely dissipate or conduct static electricity, meeting the requirements of ATEX, OSHA, and NFPA 654 for powder handling in hazardous environments.
We offer multiple liner configurations for FIBC bags used in mining and mineral applications. Form-fit PE liners provide a complete moisture and dust barrier that conforms to the bag shape. Spout-top and spout-bottom liners allow dust-free filling and discharge through closed pneumatic systems. For products requiring complete containment, fully-sealed liners with heat-sealed fill and discharge spouts are available. Our team can recommend the appropriate liner type based on your product's dust class, moisture sensitivity, and discharge method.
Yes. For aggregate and mineral products sold in smaller bag sizes — such as play sand, driveway stone, ice-melt granules, or industrial mineral additives — our heavy-duty PP woven bags in 70–120 GSM fabric are a proven solution. These bags handle sharp-edged particles without puncture, support custom printing for retail or industrial branding, and are compatible with automated filling and palletizing lines.
