Industry Solutions
Durable, food-safe, and printed packaging solutions for Canadian agricultural producers, processors, and distributors.
Agricultural products span an extraordinary range of packaging requirements — from ventilated mesh bags for fresh potatoes that must breathe to prevent condensation, to multi-layer laminated sacks for animal feed that must block moisture and pests, to UV-stabilized bags for seed that must survive outdoor storage and field-side handling. What they share is that packaging failure means product loss: spoiled feed, reduced germination rates, contaminated spice, or degraded harvest value. In a sector operating on thin margins with strict food safety oversight from the CFIA, packaging is not a commodity decision — it is a critical quality input.
Sackora supplies woven polypropylene bags to livestock producers, feed mills, seed companies, potato packers, spice processors, and cannabis producers across Canada and the United States. Our agriculture packaging is manufactured from virgin PP resin in food-safe production facilities, with optional PE inner liners, BOPP lamination for premium print presentation, and anti-slip surface treatment for stable pallet stacking. We understand the seasonal nature of agricultural procurement and work with customers to plan production runs and inventory levels that match harvest and planting cycles.
For bulk agricultural products, our FIBC bags offer a cost-effective alternative to small bags for internal handling, storage, and transport to processing facilities. FIBC bags are widely used in feed milling, grain handling, and fertilizer blending operations where fork-truck-friendly bulk containers reduce labour and packaging cost per tonne. Sackora's agriculture team can help you specify the right combination of small bags and FIBC containers for your operation.

Yes. We manufacture ventilated woven bags with a more open weave structure that allows air circulation, preventing condensation and heat buildup that leads to rot in fresh produce. Ventilation patterns can be specified to match your product's respiration requirements and storage conditions.
Yes. Many of our agricultural customers require retail-ready presentation for products sold through farm supply retailers, co-ops, and grocery channels. We offer up to 6-colour flexographic printing and BOPP laminated surfaces for photo-quality graphics, enabling branded presentation for animal feed, seed, potatoes, and specialty agricultural products.
PP woven small bags (10–50 kg) are best for products sold directly to end users, retail channels, or distributors who need individual pack sizes. FIBC bulk bags (500–2,000 kg) are more cost-effective for internal transfer of raw materials between processes, bulk sales to industrial customers, or storage of feed ingredients and crop inputs. Many operations use both: FIBC for bulk input handling and small bags for finished product distribution.
