One Spec — Five Industrial Applications

The same 9-foot × 2,230-foot PE-coated UV-stabilized woven PP roll covers a wide range of industrial cover and protection use cases. Plain white standard stock; custom widths (60–120 cm), alternate formats (tubular sleeves, half sleeves), and printed runs are produced to specification at separate lead time.

Lumber Wrap — Sawmills & Lumber Yards

Wide-format flat-roll wrap for dimensional bundle protection during yard storage, export shipment, and engineered-wood handling. The 9-foot width covers standard bundles in a single pass; the 2,230-foot length means fewer roll changes on automated wrapping lines. Breathable woven structure lets trapped moisture escape — preventing the mold and staining that ruin lumber grade under PE stretch film.

Use case Sawmills · lumber yards · export wrapping · engineered wood
Why this spec 9-ft width covers bundles in one pass · UV-stable for outdoor yard storage · breathable vs PE stretch film

Pallet & Bulk Cover — Warehouses & Distribution

Heavy-duty pallet and bulk material covers for outdoor warehouse staging, freight terminals, and distribution yards. Reusable across multiple trips — outlasts shrink film by months in active outdoor handling. The PE-coated woven PP structure resists tears from forklift tines, sharp pallet edges, and weather cycling.

Use case Warehouse pallet staging · freight terminals · outdoor distribution · bulk material protection
Why this spec Reusable, weather-resistant, breathable — won't trap moisture against goods · withstands forklift tines

Construction Site Cover — GCs & Contractors

Material protection cover for construction sites — staging-area weather covers, scaffold enclosures, debris netting alternative, and outdoor material storage. UV-stable for full-season site exposure; breathable enough to prevent moisture damage to stored materials. Cut on-site to size from the wide-format roll.

Use case Construction material storage · scaffold enclosure · staging-area weather cover · debris-side protection
Why this spec Full-season UV stability · cut to size on-site · breathable so materials don't sweat

Concrete Curing Cover — Concrete Contractors

Moisture-retention cover for concrete curing on slabs, columns, and outdoor pours. PE-coated both sides creates a vapor barrier that holds curing moisture against the concrete — critical for strength development in low-humidity conditions. Reusable across multiple cure cycles.

Use case Slab curing · column curing · winter concrete cure · cold-weather pour protection
Why this spec PE coating both sides = vapor barrier · holds cure moisture · reusable across pours

Agricultural Tarp — Hay, Silage & Equipment

Hay and silage cover for outdoor storage; equipment cover for off-season tractors, implements, and harvest equipment. UV-stabilized for multi-season exposure; the 9-foot width covers standard hay bales and large equipment in a single piece. Breathable structure prevents condensation damage.

Use case Hay & silage covers · equipment storage · multi-season outdoor protection
Why this spec Multi-season UV · breathable (no condensation) · wide enough for round bales and equipment

Why This Spec Works Across Industries

Engineered UV protection

HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers) compounded directly into the polypropylene resin during manufacture — not surface-applied. 200–400 hour accelerated weathering rating, 3–6 months real outdoor exposure depending on latitude. Holds up across full Canadian seasons in lumber yards, construction sites, and farm fields alike.

Breathable and tough

Woven structure lets trapped moisture escape — preventing the mold, staining, and condensation damage that ruin goods under PE stretch film. Tear and puncture resistance withstands forklift tines, sharp lumber edges, scaffold steel, and rough handling across every industrial use case.

PE coating both sides

Two-sided PE coating turns the woven PP into a vapor barrier where you need it — critical for concrete curing, hay/silage covers, and outdoor material storage. The coating doesn't compromise the breathability of the woven structure for goods that need to release moisture.

Ontario-to-site logistics

Direct LTL and full-truckload freight from our Richmond Hill warehouse to sites across Canada and the continental US. USMCA-compliant documentation and customs brokerage handled in-house — no broker layers, no surprise duties.

Quick Answers

How long does UV protection last in real conditions?
Standard roll is rated for 200–400 hours of accelerated weathering, which translates to 3–6 months of real outdoor exposure depending on latitude, altitude, and seasonal sun intensity. HALS stabilizers are compounded into the resin (not surface-applied), so protection is distributed throughout the fabric structure. For extended exposure — export yards, southern latitudes, multi-season storage — enhanced UV packages are available.
How does woven PP compare to PE stretch film and tarps?
Stronger, breathable, and UV-stable. PE stretch film tears on forklift tines and sharp edges, traps moisture against goods causing mold and staining, and degrades in sunlight within days. Standard PE tarps are smaller, less durable, and don't breathe. Woven PP costs more per piece but the reduction in damaged or downgraded goods more than offsets the material cost in active outdoor environments.
Can you cut to custom widths or supply tubular sleeves?
Yes. Standard widths run 60–120 cm (24–47 in) in tubular, half-sleeve, or flat-roll format; custom widths and roll lengths are produced to your specification. Tubular sleeves are the fastest application method for standardized loads; half sleeves work for irregular and oversized loads; flat rolls are the most versatile for mixed-product operations.
Do you offer custom printing?
Yes — up to 6-colour flexographic printing for company logos, grade stamps, handling instructions, and contact information. Printing is applied inline during manufacturing and does not affect fabric performance, UV resistance, or breathability.
What are typical lead times and minimum order quantities?
Standard 9-foot flat rolls ship within a few business days of order confirmation when on hand — order a single roll, a pallet, or a full container. Custom widths, sleeves, lamination, and printed runs are produced to order with lead times of 4–10 weeks depending on the spec; production minimums on custom runs typically start at 5,000–10,000 linear feet (~1,500–3,000 m; printed runs higher). Share your volume and we'll confirm both lead time and pricing at quote stage.
