Standard Roll Format

9-foot wide flat-roll lumber wrap for high-volume sawmills, lumber yards, and export operations. Custom widths from 60 to 120 cm (24 to 47 in) and alternate formats — tubular sleeves, half sleeves, custom roll lengths — are produced to your specification.

9-Foot × 2,200-Foot Flat Roll

Wide-format flat-roll lumber wrap for sawmills, lumber yards, wood exporters, and engineered-wood producers. The 9-foot width covers standard dimensional bundles and oversized engineered panels in a single pass; the 2,200-foot length means fewer roll changes and less downtime on your wrapping line. Cut to length on site or run through automated wrapping equipment.

Why Sackora

Engineered UV protection

HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers) compounded directly into the polypropylene resin during manufacture — not surface-applied. 200–400 hour accelerated weathering rating, 3–6 months real outdoor exposure depending on latitude. Enhanced UV packages available for export yards and southern climates.

Breathable and tough

Woven structure lets trapped moisture escape — preventing the mold and staining that ruin lumber grade under PE stretch film. Tear and puncture resistance withstands forklift tines, sharp lumber edges, and the rough yard handling that destroys stretch wrap inside a week.

Custom widths and formats

Tubular sleeves, half sleeves, and flat rolls in widths from 60 to 120 cm (24 to 47 in), with custom lengths to match your consumption rate. Optional anti-slip coating prevents bundle shift in transit, lamination adds a moisture barrier, and up to 6-colour flexographic printing handles branding and grade markings.

Ontario-to-site logistics

Direct LTL and full-truckload freight from our Richmond Hill warehouse to sawmills, lumber yards, and exporters across Canada and the continental US. USMCA-compliant documentation and customs brokerage handled in-house — no broker layers.

Built For

Woven PP outperforms PE stretch film in every outdoor application — breathable enough to release trapped moisture, tough enough to take forklift tines and sharp lumber edges.

Quick Answers

How long does UV protection last in real conditions?
Standard wrap is rated for 200–400 hours of accelerated weathering, which translates to 3–6 months of real outdoor exposure depending on latitude, altitude, and seasonal sun intensity. HALS stabilizers are compounded into the resin (not surface-applied), so protection is distributed throughout the fabric structure. For extended exposure — export yards, southern latitudes, multi-season storage — enhanced UV packages are available.
How does woven PP compare to PE stretch film?
Stronger, breathable, and UV-stable. Stretch film tears on forklift tines and sharp edges, traps moisture against the wood causing mold and staining, and degrades in sunlight within days. Woven PP costs more per bundle but the reduction in damaged and downgraded lumber more than offsets the material cost in active mill and yard environments.
Can you cut to custom widths or supply tubular sleeves?
Yes. Standard widths run 60–120 cm (24–47 in) in tubular, half-sleeve, or flat-roll format; custom widths and roll lengths are produced to your specification. Tubular sleeves are the fastest application method for standard dimensional lumber bundles; half sleeves work for irregular and oversized loads; flat rolls are the most versatile for mixed-product operations.
Do you offer custom printing on lumber wrap?
Yes — up to 6-colour flexographic printing for company logos, grade stamps, handling instructions, and contact information. Printing is applied inline during manufacturing and does not affect fabric performance, UV resistance, or breathability.
What are typical lead times and minimum order quantities?
Standard 9-foot flat rolls typically ship within a few business days of order confirmation when stock is on hand — order a single roll or a full container, both are fine. Custom widths, sleeves, lamination, and printed runs are produced to order with lead times of 4–10 weeks depending on the spec; production minimums on custom runs typically start at 5,000–10,000 linear feet (~1,500–3,000 m; printed runs higher). Share your volume and we'll confirm both lead time and pricing at quote stage.
